Soccer Robot

Autonomously Playing Soccer

Created by a team of five for the class Mechatronics and Robotics I, the soccer robot is able to play soccer against another robot. It utilizes computer vision and path planning to score goals and avoid the opposing robot.

As the sole software and electronics contributor for this project, I made rapid advances in my own knowledge of robotics. I had not touched an Arduino or programmed in Python before this class, and by the end, I had enabled our robot to have full autonomous capabilities with a responsive drive system and accurate ball tracking system.
