Battlebots Submission
Competing Against Professional Engineers
The CU Combat Robotics made a bid to be on the 2021 season of Battlebots. Acting as the lead mechanical engineer, and under the advice of season combat robotics competitors, I helped put together an application package to convince the show's producers we could build a competitive robot that would do well with a TV audience.
This was our video submission to the Battlebots show. They liked it enough to consider us to be in the running to be on. After starting a social media campaign to gain support, our team had enough influence in the community to have articles, like the one linked, written about our team by Battlebot fans outside of our team.
